5hrs 45min up...and 3hrs 30min down from the highest mountain in South
East Asia. (the record is 2hrs 40min return...I reckon we can beat that next time!)

World Cup final 5.15am. In 2 hours we start our trek to the Pinnacles


The luxury of Camp 5. Although this looks enclosed - it actually wasn't! Bats,
Moths and the rest of the jungle were flying around the room all night!

THE TREK TO THE PINNACLES:

I didn't sign up for this.

The entire assent was on a 60-90 degree gradient!
It was relentless!


2hrs 45mins, we made it. The way down was much harder though...


After a 5hrs 45mins round trip, a well earned soak in the river.
